Early on we talked about some of the old ways of building a business in network marketing. They weren't very successful and over 97% of us failed within the first few months. That is a big number!

Whether you're an expert, a novice, or completely computer illiterate, with time, effort, and, yes, an investment in learning, you too can make this business work for you! Let's look at that again; I don't want you to waste your time and hard earned money!

If you are not willing to spend the time, invest some money, grow, learn, and develop your business, then please don't jump on board again. This business takes all of the above. When marketing online it's important to have a place to share your message, your product, your content, and your marketing tools.

There are many different options out there for building websites...MANY! If this is the route you're going to go.

Find a site that offers website builders. When you're a novice learning a new business, network marketing, and marketing stategies...the last thing you want to learn is HTML, SQL, or many of the other programming languages.

I'm currently working with a website builder through FatCow.com. This site gives numerous capabilities and themes to choose from. They offer value and quality with regards to support and tools for success.

Many businesses that offer replicate sites, much like you see here Sonoran Bloom Nopalea. A replicate site is a great way to start, but you'll soon find out that search engines like authenticity to pick you out in a crowded market.

If a business or opportunity offers you a site! Take it...you'll use it and need it! As you direct potential customers to your business opportunities, you'll be thankful that you have them. The more the better; we need all the help we can get as we build our business and team!

I want to take a moment and talk about Blogs and Blogging for your business, product, or team. There are numerous FREE blog sites out there. I started out with Blogger and moved onto WordPress.

As you get more comfortable with the process of building content and utilizing the tools and widgets for your blog or website, you'll find that WordPress is a very compatible blogging tool. It is recommended and highly used throughout the industry, as is Blogger.

Autoresponders

Autoresponders are utilized for disseminating information to your clients, leads, constituents, and customers. They are invaluable for automating the delivery of information. They offer you the opportunity to get your message out in the webmail quickly and continually, over an extended period of time.

It's an amazing tool that I can't do without! It would be nearly impossible to systematically get the information out in a timely manner without them. This is something you'll need, if you're seriously looking to expand your business opportunity.

This is an incredibly important part of your system...if you are doing research on Autoresponders...a trusted recommendation is iContact...try it out with their test drive! Their system is easy to use and offers the option to create several responders for several opportunities.

Another very popular autoresponder is AWEBER. This is a great company, but after using their system for a time; I moved over to iContact.

Research and Education are Building Blocks to a Successful MLM Business

I can't stress this enough. Research, educate, and learn...these are the building blocks to your success. Your business will not build itself; no matter how wonderful your product is.

Reach out and read books like the Go-Giver by Bob Burg and John David Mann. Find out why giving is more attractive than receiving. Find out why I recommend or give this to my distributors when they begin working with me.
