There are Four Basic Principles that affect the direction of our business as it relates to marketing and future profitability. They are important to grasp and understand; let's take a look at what they are together.
HUGE EXPANDING MARKET:
You could be the best salesman or woman in the industry and never achieve success in a eroding market.
So the first thing you need to pay attention to is what's happening with your product or products.
Is the merchandise/company moving forward (gaining ground) or dying out?
Will consumers still be interested in what I have 5 years from now?
Is my product offering worth building a foundation upon?
Take a close look at the opportunity you are evaluating...select from a solid company with a driven record of accomplishments! Then your foundation will be strong and your base for success sure.
UNIQUE CONSUMABLE PRODUCT:
Why is it important to be unique? Being unique sets us apart from the rest. Providing a product that is unique to the industry will separate us from the rest of the competition.
If you have a product that is unique, specialized, and consumable you will be set apart and likely in demand. Look closely at your product choice and decide what is special (unique) about it:
Why does it stand above the rest?
Is it consumable, will my customers come back for more?
Will they need to come back for more?
Above are important questions that should be answered before you start a business of your own, whether it's online or local marketing.
T - Timing is crucial when choosing a business.
R - Remember, do your research. You won't regret it!
E - Every business has pros and cons; look at the trends.
N - Never choose a business with unreasonable promos.
D - Diversify to reflect the growing market and trends.
S - Stop jumping from opportunity to opportunity - FOCUS.
TIMING:
What makes timing crucial to success in business? Let's face it, there are businesses that run ahead of the trend and those that are always trying to catch up.
Which one do you think is making money? The one out front, on the cutting edge, or the one pulling his socks up on the other side. You guessed it; it's the guy or gal out front.

THE ABILITY TO CREATE LEVERAGE:
What's the definition of leverage? It is borrowing money to supplement existing funds for investment in such a way that the potential positive or negative outcome is magnified and/or enhanced.
Obviously, we are going to make decisions that will force the supplemented investment to gain exponentially in the positive. As I said there's a partnership here...you need 100% from YOU and you need 100% from the business vehicle you choose.
